Job summary

Moor End Academy in Huddersfield is seeking a break and lunchtime supervisor to support pupils outside lesson times. The role is 16 hours 25 minutes per week and may start as soon as possible. Visa sponsorship is not available.

You will work one-to-one or in small groups, using behaviour plans and IEPs to help pupils participate in school life and access the curriculum. This role focuses on inclusion, confidence and engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils during breaks and lunchtimes.
• Ability to apply behaviour plans and IEPs.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.
• Willingness to disclose any AI use in the SPA application.

Responsibilities

• Support individual pupils or small groups during breaks and lunchtimes.
• Apply tailored teaching strategies, behaviour plans and Individual Education Plans.
• Guide pupils' progress and celebrate achievements.
• Help pupils feel included, confident and engaged in school life.
• Help pupils access the national curriculum in a way that works for them.
