Job summary

Blackpool Virtual School is seeking a Pupil Achievement Officer to support services across the town and promote the education of Our Children in Blackpool. You will track progress against PEPs and identify and implement targeted interventions for pupils at risk of under-achievement.

You will work with the Head of Virtual School and collaborate with SEND, admissions and external providers to ensure suitable educational provision and rising attainment for Our Children.

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor educational and emotional progress against Personal Education Plans (PEPs).
• Identify pupils at risk of under-achievement and coordinate targeted interventions.
• Liaise with SEND, admissions and external school support services to address pupils' needs.
• Advise and challenge schools to improve provision for Our Children, including SEND and education services.
• Collaborate with the Head of Virtual School to support service delivery across departments.
