Job summary

Cooper Golding is seeking a Production Operative for a well-established manufacturing client in Holsworthy. The role is full-time with a temporary ongoing contract, offering weekly pay and opportunities for overtime. Work shifts are available across two options.

You will operate punch press machines, load and adjust materials, monitor performance, and ensure safety and quality on the workshop floor. Heavy lifting up to 25 kg and strict health and safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in a factory environment (metal works experience is advantageous).
• Performing quality checks on finished products.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Flexibility is essential.
• Able to carry and move heavy parts (up to 25 kg).

Responsibilities

• Operate punch press machines to cut, shape, and form metal.
• Load materials into the machine and adjust to ensure accurate cutting and forming.
• Monitor the machine during operation to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.
• Lift, move and carry safely large and heavy pieces of metal.
• Adhere to manual handling and health and safety regulations.
