Job summary
Ernest Gordon Recruitment is helping a family-run engineering business in Farnborough recruit a Workshop Engineer to service pumps, electric motors and related equipment. You'll work from the workshop, dismantling, diagnosing, repairing and reassembling, with training available.
The ideal candidate has a mechanical or electrical background, experience with pumps or HVAC equipment is a plus, and a full UK driving licence.
Qualifications
- Mechanical or electrical engineering background.
- Experience with pumps, motors or HVAC equipment advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Dismantling, diagnosing and repairing pumps and electric motors.
- Rewinding electric motors where experienced, with training provided.
- Reassembling pumps, motors and air handling equipment.
- Carrying out mechanical and electrical fault finding.
- Inspecting and testing equipment before return to customers.
- Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm.
