Job summary

Mitie (via Marlowe) is seeking a Pumps Engineer to deliver high-quality maintenance, repair and installation services for pump systems across customer sites throughout the UK. The role involves full-time hours with an on-call rota (approximately 1 in 4 weeks) and work across Manchester/Birmingham with UK-wide travel.

You will service, repair and install various pump systems, respond to call-outs, and travel across the UK with potential overnight stays to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Electrical knowledge and maintenance experience in a relevant engineering or maintenance environment.
• Competent in working with pipework and valves.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites independently or as part of a team to carry out planned and reactive works.
• Service, repair and maintain a variety of pump systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Respond to call-outs and breakdowns relating to sewage, rainwater and cold-water booster pump systems.
• Install new pump systems in line with company and customer requirements.
• Travel throughout the UK and undertake overnight stays where required to support operational needs.
