P+S Personnel are seeking a Pump Technician to join their team in Loddon on a full-time, permanent basis. You will mobilise, operate and monitor pumping equipment across UK projects, including international assignments, focusing on cargo transfers, tank cleaning, sludge transfer and dewatering.

The role combines field operations with office-side planning and reporting, with emphasis on safety and documentation. Regular UK travel and international work may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience of portable pumping equipment and pumping operations.
• Good understanding of pumps, hoses, manifolds and associated transfer equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot operational issues in the field.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within project teams.
• Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office.
• Passport and Full UK driving licence.
• Regular travel throughout the UK.
• International travel may be required to support customer operations and projects.
• Experience working aboard vessels or at marine terminals (Desirable).
• Offshore certificates/tickets (BOSIET, FOET, MIST, Offshore Medical or equivalent) (Desirable).

Responsabilités

• Carry out fluid transfer operations in accordance with project requirements and procedures.
• Monitor operating parameters including pressure, flow rates and equipment performance.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions to minimise downtime.
• Conduct pre-use inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Ensure all pumping operations are carried out safely and in accordance with customer and company procedures.
• Liaise with clients, vessel personnel and site representatives during operations.
• Complete operational reports and project documentation.
• Prepare operational paperwork, job packs and risk assessments.
• Assist with planning and coordinating pumping operations.
• Produce post-job reports and customer documentation.
• Support equipment scheduling and mobilisation planning.
• Liaise with customers regarding operational requirements.
• Participate in operational reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Pump Technician to join their team based in Loddon on a full-time, permanent basis.

Job Summary

As the Pump Technician you will be supporting pumping operations for customers across the UK and internationally, focusing on the mobilisation, operation, monitoring and demobilisation of pumping equipment used for cargo transfers, tank cleaning, sludge transfer, dewatering and other fluid transfer operations.

Main Responsibilities

Operational Duties

• Participate in operational reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday, full-time.

Flexibility to work outside standard office hours (time is received back in lieu)
