Job summary

Example Recruitment Group is seeking a reliable Pump Engineer for a permanent role covering Southwark, Lambeth, Tower Hamlets and Tonbridge.

You will service, maintain, fault-find and repair hot and cold-water pumps in plantrooms on commercial and residential sites, using a company van and fuel card. Strong diagnostic skills and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with hot and cold-water pumps in plantrooms.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with commercial and residential pump systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Pump Engineer - Permanent Position

Are you an experienced Pump Engineer looking for a permanent role with a growing company, excellent earning potential, and a fully equipped company van?

The Role

• Service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of hot and cold-water pumps
• Work on booster sets, pressurisation units, circulation pumps and associated plantroom equipment
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
• Complete service reports and job documentation
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company on-site

• Southwark
• Lambeth
• Tower Hamlets
• Tonbridge

Package

• £155 - £185 per day (depending on experience)
• Permanent position
• Company van & fuel card provided
• 21 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
• Call-out rota: 1 week in every 6
• £50 per day standby payment
• £25 per call-out attended
• Working hours: 8:00am - 5:30pm
• Ongoing training and career progression opportunities

Requirements

• Previous experience working on hot and cold-water pumps within plantrooms
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience with commercial and residential pump systems
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good communication and customer service skills
