Role Overview
Full scope of engineered pump overhaul, including assembly, service, testing, and stripping a wide variety of pumps and associated spares.
In-house work but occasional site work (knowledge of controls and fault-finding advantageous).
Compiling required assembly documentation.
Working as part of a busy fitting and disassembly team.
Flexible working hours may be required.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Thursday, #removed# and Friday, #removed#, totalling a 39-hour week with half-hour unpaid lunch breaks.

Have you worked with pumps, valves, blowers, motors, mechanical seals, gears, fans or other rotating equipment?

We have an opportunity for a technical, enthusiastic, and energetic Pump and Rotating Equipment Fitter (Mechanical Engineer) to join our team, where no two days are the same.
Candidates will be considered within 2 working days from application.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a team of highly experienced Pump and Rotating Equipment Fitters in our innovative workshop, building a variety of equipment in a fast-paced environment.
The right candidate may also have the opportunity to work on customer sites to remove, re-install, and commission equipment.
Further training is available, such as CCNSG and OEM training on components.
Progression opportunities within Pump Supply and Repair Group are also available.
The successful candidate must be a time-served fitter/engineer (C&G Level 3/BTEC O.N.C) or other relevant qualifications.
Must have a good knowledge of tolerances and working to high standards.
Ideally, knowledge of pumps and rotating equipment in industrial, chemical, power generation, Petro-chemical, and water industries.
Need a can-do approach - flexible working will be required.
Organised - be able to work to agreed time scales.
Clean and presentable appearance.
This can be a physically demanding position mainly using mechanical lifting equipment.
