Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Band 3 Technical Instructor to support the Pulmonary Rehabilitation programme alongside Registered Nurse/Physiotherapist Specialists. You will assist in assessments, deliver exercise sessions, and provide education to patients, relatives and carers within your competency.

Under supervision, you will prioritise tasks, document clinical activity, and escalate concerns.

Qualifications

• Assist in assessment processes and delivery of exercise classes.
• Deliver education sessions and reassessment activities.
• Report clinical observations and escalate concerns.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervision and support of Service Users at Pulmonary.
• Provide support and encouragement to patients throughout the Pulmonary rehabilitation.
• Under direction of the Senior Technical Instructor, support delivery of exercise programmes.
• Set up and take down all activity equipment at class locations and check.
• Assist Service Users in using exercise equipment and complete walking tests.
