About this role
As Publisher Relations Specialist – Australia & UK, you will oversee publisher relationships, merchandising, and catalogue performance for our audiobook vendors primarily in Australia, but also in the UK, on an 18-month contract.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and developing strong relations with publishing partners across Australia, including preparing and presenting business reviews, and supporting vendor negotiations.
- Coordinating between publishing partners and internal marketing teams to facilitate marketing and editorial initiatives, including collating publisher slates, setting up editorial features, newsletters, blog posts, and driving creative campaigns.
- Driving the coordination of assets for merchandising and supporting process optimization.
- Analyzing key business drivers, trends, and performance indicators to improve catalog quality and relationships with publishing partners.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Content Operations, Content Creation, Finance, Legal, and PR to meet Audible's business goals.
- Working flexible hours several days a week to coordinate with AU-based teams and vendors.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in the Australian or UK Publishing Industry

- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Highly collaborative with experience in matrix environments
- Resourceful self-starter with a proactive attitude
- Well-developed network within the Australian or UK publishing landscape
- Excellent organizational skills and data analysis proficiency (Excel)
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
