Job summary

First Bus in Accrington is seeking an Operations Manager to provide a local management presence and operational service to customers. You will be the primary contact for customers and suppliers, planning events and operations in line with FTS policies and procedures.

You will lead safety, ensure SLA alignment, and build strong relationships with client teams and external agencies while driving improvements to service delivery and performance across the network.

• Maintain safety standards during external operational activity.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and stakeholders within area of responsibility.
• Plan events and operations in line with policies and procedures.
• Build strong client relationships and represent First Bus externally.
• Support standardised blockade plans and traffic management requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet service delivery needs.
• Identify improvements to processes and workflow for client satisfaction.
