Job summary

The Bedford College Group is seeking a Technical Lecturer – Electrical Installations to deliver engaging teaching at Tresham College’s Corby & Wellingborough campuses. You will plan, deliver and assess Electrical Installation & related Built Environment modules, ensuring practical relevance and learner progress.

Key requirements include Level 2 Electrical Installations and willingness to pursue Level 3 Teaching Award/TAQA.

Qualifications

• Holds a Level 2 Electrical Installations qualification with current industry knowledge.
• Able to teach across vocational areas with practical and theoretical delivery.
• Willing to obtain Level 3 Teaching Qualification (TAQA/Cert Ed) and continue professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical installation and building services teaching across programmes.
• Plan schemes of work, assess progress and provide feedback.
• Maintain safe learning environments and manage learner behaviour.
• Contribute to curriculum development and student support.
