Job summary

Capgemini Invent in the UK is seeking a Management Consultant for Public Sector Business Case work based in Manchester, London, Glasgow or Newcastle. You will work with government clients to develop and validate business cases for major digital and strategic transformation programmes.

You will quantify benefits, apply the Green Book guidance, and write compelling cases for change. You’ll also support proposals, thought leadership, and practice development while embracing hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting programmes and projects in the public sector.
• Experience with business case development or review/assurance.
• Consultancy or civil service background with government relationships.
• Comfort in a technology environment while focusing on UK Public Sector business cases.

Responsibilities

• Support government clients in developing business cases for digital and strategic transformation programmes.
• Quantify benefits, provide financial and economic analysis, and describe delivery options using Green Book guidance.
• Advise clients on existing business cases and recommend next steps.
• Contribute to proposals, thought leadership, and practice development.
