Qualifications

• Experience handling or assisting on social care and abuse files.
• Proactive and forward-thinking mindset with team engagement.
• Experience managing own caseload.
• Strong drafting, communication and negotiating skills.
• Good IT skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handling or assisting on social care and abuse files (depending on experience).
• Assisting senior fee earners with case management, legal research, drafting witness statements, and client reports.
• Managing disclosure documents.
• Attending client meetings and court hearings.
• Assisting with instruction of Counsel and experts.
• Responding promptly to correspondence and inquiries, with or without supervision.
• Achieving set financial and chargeable targets.
• Supporting the team’s business development activities.
