Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a Recruitment Consultant for a 3-month contract with a local authority in Slough. You will deliver a high-quality, customer-focused recruitment service, advising hiring managers and guiding end-to-end processes from posting vacancies to onboarding and offers.

You will manage multiple campaigns, develop attraction strategies, and ensure compliance with employment legislation while building strong stakeholder relationships and promoting the employer brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal recruitment, talent acquisition, or recruitment consultancy.
• Understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes and candidate attraction.
• Knowledge of employment legislation and best practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to deadlines.
• Experience with recruitment systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret recruitment data.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to deliver end-to-end recruitment services.
• Manage campaigns from vacancy creation through to offer and onboarding.
• Develop attraction strategies across multiple channels to reach diverse talent pools.
• Advise on recruitment best practices, market trends, and legislation.
• Handle multiple vacancies and meet SLAs and deadlines.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Organise recruitment events and engagement activities to boost visibility.
• Maintain recruitment systems and ensure accurate records and workflows.
• Coordinate candidate communications and onboarding activities.
• Monitor activity, analyse metrics, and support continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and safer recruitment practices.
