Job summary

Morgan Philips Group SA is seeking a Mechanical Technician for a long-term contract within a hybrid role requiring site attendance and office work when required.

The role focuses on delivering mechanical maintenance, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance across a public-sector property portfolio. Knowledge of water hygiene/Legionella and CDM regulations is essential, with experience in contract administration and project oversight.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering mechanical projects and maintenance contracts.
• Contract administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation, including CDM Regulations and asbestos regulations.
• Significant knowledge of water hygiene/Legionella control.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage mechanical maintenance and asset sustainability projects.
• Act as Contract Administrator for allocated projects and maintenance programmes.
• Oversee contractors, compliance activities, and statutory inspections.
• Support mechanical compliance activities including water hygiene/Legionella control.
• Oversee gas safety and pool plant maintenance.
• Undertake site surveys, condition surveys, audits, and asset management activities.
• Manage project budgets and monitor expenditure.
• Provide technical advice to clients and support emergency situations.
• Participate in an out-of-hours emergency rota.
