Job summary

IBM is seeking motivated individuals to join its Consulting Public Sector as Junior Management Consultant Apprentices. You'll spend four days per week on client-facing projects and one day on IBM's apprenticeship program, supported by dedicated mentors. IBM is rated Strong by OFSTED and offers a structured development path in technology and consulting.

Start dates include October 2026 and June 2027. The role requires commuting to London, Hursley, or Manchester, and eligibility for Security

Qualifications

• Office-based role; not remote.
• Live within commuting distance to London, Hursley or Manchester.
• Eligible for Security Clearance.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Maths & English GCSE or equivalent (level 4+).
• Completed sixth form education.
• Not currently in another apprenticeship or degree in a similar area.

Responsibilities

• Project Management Support: assist management consultants in delivery of projects.
• Client Engagement: build relationships with clients and understand their business needs.
• Data Analysis: analyze data to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Solution Development: develop and implement process improvements and tech solutions.
• Communication: convey ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• Team Collaboration: work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects.
