Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking experienced Joiners to support public sector sites in South Tyneside and Sunderland, performing high-quality maintenance, upgrades and refurbishment works.

The role offers full-time hours, working on one dedicated site per day, with standard 40-hour weeks and potential for permanent placement. PAYE or CIS payment routes are available to accommodate individual preference.

Qualifications

• Time-served joiner with NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• DBS check and verified work references required.
• Experience in commercial/public sector or facility maintenance joinery.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, professional around on-site staff and public.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out high-standard general joinery maintenance, repairs, and installations.
• Fitting, repairing, and adjusting commercial doors, fire doors, frames, and ironmongery.
• Installing fitted furniture, cabinetry, shelving, and timber partitions.
• Completing both scheduled planned works and general day-to-day upkeep across facilities.
• Adhering strictly to health, safety, and site hygiene protocols at all times.
