Job summary

Randstad CPE is helping a client in Newcastle upon Tyne recruit an experienced Joiner to carry out high-quality maintenance, upgrades and refurbishment works on a dedicated site. The role offers full-time hours, 40 hours per week, and potential for permanent placement.

The ideal candidate will be a time-served Joiner with a CSCS card, a strong background in commercial or public sector maintenance, and a professional approach around on-site staff and the public.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out high-standard general joinery maintenance, repairs, and installations.

• Installing fitted furniture, cabinetry, shelving, and timber partitions.
• Completing both scheduled planned works and general day-to-day upkeep across facilities.
• Adhering strictly to health, safety, and site hygiene protocols at all times.

Job description

We are currently seeking experienced Joiners to join our clients team in Newcastle upon Tyne.

This role involves carrying out high-quality maintenance, upgrades, and refurbishment works. You will be based at one dedicated facility per day, working within a structured and secure team environment. This position offers consistent full-time hours, long-term stability, and the strong potential for a permanent transition into the workforce.

Package & Benefits

• £22.00 - £24.00 per hour (Depending on experience and payment route)
• Flexible options available including PAYE or CIS
• Excellent long-term prospects with a view to moving into a permanent position
• Steady, full-time hours based on one main site per day
• 40 hours, Monday to Friday

Key Duties
