Job summary

Build Search is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Manager to own public sector development in the Midlands and North West, working with the Head of Public Sector and regional directors. You will identify opportunities, strengthen engagement before procurement, and drive capture activity across Education, Healthcare, Blue Light, Local Government, and wider public infrastructure.

You will collaborate with Pre-Construction, Business Development and Marketing to build sustainable regional pipelines

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of public sector markets, client structures and investment priorities for Midlands and North West.
• Understanding of UK public procurement requirements and compliant routes to market.
• Knowledge of construction frameworks, dynamic markets and direct award routes.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver regional public sector development plans for the Midlands and North West.
• Identify priority sectors, target clients and routes to market with senior leadership.
• Maintain action plans reflecting local market strengths and existing relationships.
• Manage regional pipelines and relationships with priority clients, consultants and procurement bodies.
• Coordinate capture activity and handover processes across teams to improve conversion.
• Ensure accurate CRM records and monthly reporting on pipeline and activity.
