Job summary

Leeds City Council is seeking a Cat G Electrician to join Leeds Building Services at LS14 1NZ. The role covers electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding across housing and non-housing estates, with opportunities to develop skills in both domestic and commercial systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, servicing, inspection, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment across housing and non-housing properties.
• Ensure accurate data is recorded and utilise IT systems efficiently.
• Liaise with customers to deliver excellent service.
• Support delivery of a safe, efficient and comprehensive electrical service.
• Prioritise health, safety and wellbeing of colleagues and customers.
• Contribute to risk assessments for tasks performed.
• Manage van stock/materials and keep tools in good condition.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and used per manufacturers’ guidance.
