Government Commercial Agency (GCA) in the UK is seeking a Commercial Practitioner to lead high-value commercial agreements within the Software category. You will own supplier relationships and drive value for the nation, working with a Commercial Lead to deliver results.

Qualifikationen

• Experience of procurement and/or commercial contract management, with a track record of managing contract performance and value for money.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
• Experience of supplier and/or customer relationship management, preferably in technology sectors.
• Ability to motivate, influence and persuade stakeholders across seniority levels to achieve outcomes.
• Problem solving and continuous improvement mindset.

Aufgaben

• Lead on procurement workstreams and manage procurement and commercial agreement procurements to timelines.
• Manage agreement performance over its lifecycle, including campaigns and industry/customer forums.
• Advise public sector buyers on optimal commercial strategies for technology procurements.
• Manage suppliers, analyse data to identify market trends and opportunities for the public sector.
• Develop engagement with suppliers and public sector buyers to share best practice and create value.
• Mitigate risk and evolve category strategies; support team development and process improvements.
