Forvis Mazars in the UK invites school leavers to start an Audit apprenticeship, gaining hands-on client work and studying toward ACA qualification while contributing to testing financial information and analytics.

You’ll join the Public Sector Audit team, delivering high-quality audits across central government, NHS and local authorities, with funded ACA study, mentorship and structured training.”

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C (or equivalent).
• 112 UCAS tariff points from top three A Levels, BTECs, Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers, or other recognised Level 3 qualifications.
• Willingness to embark on the School Leaver Apprenticeship and ACA study pathway.

Responsibilities

• Support audit engagements by testing financial information and reviewing evidence to ensure financial statements are accurate and compliant.
• Analyse financial data to understand how businesses operate, identify risks and highlight key findings.
• Use audit technology, AI-powered tools and data analytics to interpret large volumes of data and improve audit quality.
• Research accounting and auditing standards and apply them to client situations practically.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues, gathering information and responding to queries during engagements.
• Work with Audit, Tax and Advisory teams to gain broader understanding of client challenges and solutions.
• Take on increasing responsibility, build technical expertise, manage workload and strengthen client relationships.
