Job summary

Forvis Mazars is launching a School Leaver Apprenticeship in Audit in Milton Keynes. You’ll gain hands-on client experience while studying towards a professional qualification and ACA.

You’ll receive structured training, mentoring, and exposure to diverse industries from day one. You don’t need prior audit experience; you’ll learn through funded ACA study, dedicated study leave, and a balanced mix of client work and learning.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English Language at Grade 4/C (or equivalent).
• Achieved or predicted a minimum of 112 UCAS tariff points from your top three A Levels, BTECs, Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers, or other recognised Level 3 qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support audit engagements by testing financial information and reviewing evidence to help ensure financial statements are accurate and compliant.
• Analyse financial data to understand how businesses operate, identify risks and highlight key findings.
• Use audit technology, AI-powered tools and data analytics to interpret large volumes of data, identify trends, enhance insights and improve audit quality.
• Research accounting and auditing standards and help apply them to client situations in a practical way.
• Work closely with clients and colleagues, gathering information, responding to queries and contributing to meetings and reports.
• Collaborate with specialists across Audit, Tax and Advisory teams to gain a broader understanding of client challenges and solutions.
• Take on increasing responsibility as you develop, building technical expertise, managing your workload and strengthening client relationships.
