Job summary

Scale AI is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer (Forward Deployed) to partner with public sector clients and rapidly build AI-enabled, full-stack applications. The role emphasizes delivering scalable, production-grade software integrated with AI models while working directly with customer infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of post-graduate full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js, Python and Node.js, plus Docker, Kubernetes and cloud proficiency across Azure/AWS/GCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of post-graduation, full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js, Python, Node.js, PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Proven ability to architect scalable, production-grade apps and work directly with customer infrastructure.
• Self-starting, with the maturity to navigate ambiguous requirements and deliver reliable software.
• Experience with LLMs and the Gen AI landscape.

Responsibilities

• Partner with public sector clients to scope, collect feedback and implement solutions for complex problems.
• Architect production-grade applications that integrate AI models with full-stack frameworks.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure within cloud environments, ensuring security, scalability and reliability.
• Contribute to core platform features designed to be reused across diverse international use cases.
• Collaborate with design, product, and data teams to build robust applications aligned with architecture.
