Job summary

NEC Software Solutions is seeking a passionate Software Product Owner to join our Public Safety product team in the UK. You’ll help shape the vision and define features for our Control Room portfolio, aligning with our strategy and customer needs.

As part of a collaborative, agile environment, you’ll work with product managers, customers, sales, and engineering to translate requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria, guiding delivery and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar analytical role in software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions.
• Ability to manage features with attention to detail and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision and strategy for the Control Room portfolio.
• Collaborate with product managers, customers, sales, marketing and dev teams to gather and prioritise requirements.
• Write clear, well-defined features with requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in sprint planning and maintain the product backlog and roadmap.
• Support competitive analysis and release management.
