Job summary

NEC Software Solutions is seeking a skilled Software Product Owner to join the Public Safety product team in the UK. You will help shape the vision and strategy for the Control Room portfolio, working with customers, sales, and development teams to deliver valuable features.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with agile methods, and a clear understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar analytical role in software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions
Ability to manage detail and consider all contingencies
Experience working with agile methodologies
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle

Responsibilities

Define and manage product vision and strategy for the Control Room portfolio
Collaborate with product managers, customers, and development teams to gather and prioritise requirements
Write clear features with requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria
Participate in sprint planning and maintain the product backlog priorities
Assist in developing and maintaining the product roadmap and backlog
Support competitive market analysis to identify opportunities for innovation
Coordinate releases and communicate progress to stakeholders
