My client is a leading global Home Interiors and renowned luxury consumer goods brand.

They have created a centre of excellence within their marketing team and have hired talented professionals across Marketing/Brand, Digital, CRM, Insights & Analytics. The brand is primarily led by Marketing, supported by Data, with a focus on customer experience.

Committed to innovation, customer satisfaction, and a dynamic work culture, they seek a talented Content Manager to join their team in Birmingham (about 10/15 minutes from the city centre, hybrid work).

Role Overview:

The Influencer & PR Executive is a key member of the Marketing team, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with influencers and trade press.

This role involves developing and executing influencer marketing and PR strategies to enhance brand visibility, reputation, and engagement.

You will manage relationships with influencers, media partners, and industry leaders to raise the brand’s profile and generate quality leads.

The role requires close collaboration with the Brands team to create and implement strategic campaigns aligned with business goals, ensuring brand consistency and effective messaging. Monitoring and evaluating campaigns, identifying new opportunities, and building long-term partnerships are also essential responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Influencer marketing & strategy

  • Develop and implement influencer marketing strategies to boost brand awareness and engagement in key B2B sectors.
  • Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers, thought leaders, and industry figures for collaborations.
  • Coordinate influencer campaigns across platforms, ensuring content aligns with brand messaging.
  • Manage influencer partnerships, negotiate contracts, and measure campaign performance based on engagement, leads, and ROI.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging influencers.
  • Develop and execute PR campaigns to enhance reputation, secure media coverage, and increase visibility.
  • Write and distribute press releases and media communications.
  • Build relationships with journalists, media outlets, and PR agencies.
  • Align PR activities with broader marketing goals and messaging.

Content creation

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling brand messages for influencers and partners.
  • Develop high-quality content for influencer collaborations and external communications, adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Ensure all external communications are professional, on-brand, and industry-standard compliant.

Media relations & event management

  • Build and maintain relationships with media professionals for ongoing coverage.
  • Organise media events, such as press conferences and product launches.
  • Assist with planning and executing trade shows and industry conferences.

What I'm looking for:

  • Proven experience in influencer marketing, PR, and media relations, preferably in B2C/B2B environments.
  • Experience writing press releases and managing media outreach.
  • Strong understanding of managing influencer campaigns end-to-end.
  • Experience working with influencers, media, and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple campaigns.
