Mackin Talent is seeking a Public Policy Manager to track and assess policy issues in the MENA region related to on-platform harm across Meta FoAs. You will flag emerging risks to the Public Policy team for proactive intervention and triage inbound requests from external partners.

The role requires strong English and Arabic communication, the ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment, and solid project management skills. A pension scheme and a pro-rated leave allowance are included.

Formación

• Degree in public policy, law, politics, international relations, economics, or related field.
• 1-2 years of professional experience in policy, tech, or a related field.
• Knowledge of AI, privacy, and online safety policy issues.
• Understanding of social, cultural and political systems and policy institutions in MENA.
• Excellent communication and persuasive skills in English and Arabic.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Experience in policy, operations, or content moderation within tech or social media platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with the MENA policy landscape is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Track and assess policy issues in the MENA region related to on-platform harm across FoAs.
• Flag emerging risks to the Public Policy team for proactive intervention.
• Triage inbound content-related requests from external partners across the region.
• Coordinate with relevant internal teams to follow up and resolve cases.
• Escalate blockages or unresolved issues to sub-regional heads or designated country PoCs.
• Ensure proper documentation, closure, and external response for each case.
• Support MENA Policy Stakeholders in resolving access issues to FoAs.
• Manage account escalations from external partners, including verification and case closure.
• Escalate persistent issues to sub-regional heads or country PoCs.
• Maintain the team calendar, including offsite dates, leave schedules, and key regional events.
