Schroders in London is seeking an ambitious intern for the Public Markets Quants Internship Programme 2027, part of Investment20/20. You will rotate across two quantitative desks, gaining hands-on experience on live projects and learning from senior investment professionals.
The internship runs for 10 weeks, starting in June 2027, with training, networking, and potential pathways into the Schroders Graduate Programme.

Our 2027 London Summer Internship Programme runs for 10 weeks, starting on Monday 14 2027 and finishing on Friday 20 August 2027. This internship is designed to give you a unique introduction to the asset and wealth management industry and offers valuable insight into how your chosen department operates within Schroders.
Throughout the programme you will:
As an intern, you will undertake two rotations across quantitatively driven investment desks. This will give you exposure to a broad spectrum of strategies.
We are looking for proactive and adaptable individuals who display robust numerical and analytical skills and a strong work ethic. You should be curious about financial markets, comfortable working with data and digital tools, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment. Clear communication, a collaborative spirit, and a logical approach to solving problems are essential. The internship spans 3 quantitative investment teams across equities and fixed income, each with different strategies and focuses.
During your 10‑week placement, you’ll have the opportunity to rotate across two of these diverse teams, gaining a broader understanding of different investment areas. You’ll be encouraged to contribute actively, ask questions, and take on tasks that will help you build your knowledge across the business.
