Programme overview

Our 2027 London Summer Internship Programme runs for 10 weeks, starting on Monday 14 June 2027 and finishing on Friday 20 August 2027. This internship is designed to give you a unique introduction to the asset and wealth management industry and offers valuable insight into how your chosen department operates within Schroders.

Throughout the programme you will

• Take part in comprehensive introductory training to build your understanding of the business
• Be assigned to a team where you will contribute to live projects and gain meaningful hands‑on experience
• Shadow experienced professionals and learn directly from leaders in the field
• Have opportunities to network with colleagues and other interns, helping you build connections for your future career

• Value Proposition: Develops tailored investment offerings by analysing market trends, reviewing competitor activity, and working alongside investment teams to create innovative solutions that our clients value.
• Sales Activation: Delivers local sales strategies and deepens client relationships, focusing on growth opportunities and ensuring high standards of client service across regions.
• Delivery: Partners with technology and operations to drive efficient, data‑driven processes, leveraging insights and tools to continuously enhance client engagement.

Our clients range from central banks and pension schemes to family offices and wealth advisors globally. The Client Group's integrated approach ensures that every solution and interaction is client‑centric, leading to exceptional service and strong, lasting relationships.

Knowledge, experience and qualifications we're looking for

• When the internship commences, you will have completed your second year of studies and will be on track to graduate with a degree (or equivalent) in 2028.
• We welcome applications from all degree subjects.
• Please note that we do not accept applications from students in their final year who intend to undertake further study (e.g. a Master's degree) before entering employment.
• A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• The ability to understand our target audiences.
