Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Local Authority Research Practitioner for a 21-month fixed-term, part-time role (30 hours/week). The post will develop and deliver research activity across CPFT and local authority partners, bridging health and social care to improve access to research opportunities.

You will support recruitment, consent, governance, and data handling while collaborating with universities and NHS partners to embed evidence-based practice across

Qualifications

• Experience in health, social care, Local Authority, or community settings.
• Experience delivering research studies.
• Experience in participant recruitment and informed consent processes.
• Experience supporting projects, research, service evaluation, or quality improvement activities.

Responsabilités

• Provide ongoing support, advice and information to patients/volunteers regarding participation in clinical research to obtain informed consent.
• Ensure day-to-day practice reflects governance, clinical effectiveness, safety and patient experience.
• Work collaboratively to ensure all studies are delivered on time and per protocol.
• Undertake horizon scanning to identify research opportunities and studies relevant to CPFT and Local Authority partners.
