Job summary

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) is recruiting a Local Authority Research Practitioner (LARP) on a 21-month fixed-term, part-time basis (30 hours per week) based at the Windsor Research Unit, Cambridge. You will coordinate and deliver research activities across CPFT and local authorities, building capacity in social care and public health.

Qualifications

• Experience working in health, social care, Local Authority, or community settings.
• Experience delivering research studies.
• Experience supporting projects, research, service evaluation, or quality improvement.
• ICH GCP Training or knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Champion a positive research culture and advocate for integrating research into routine practice.
• Provide ongoing support and information to patients/volunteers regarding participation in clinical research to obtain informed consent.
• Ensure day-to-day practice reflects governance, clinical effectiveness, safety and patient experience.
• Work collaboratively to ensure studies are delivered on time and in accordance with the study protocol.
• Undertake horizon scanning to identify research opportunities with CPFT and Local Authority partners.
• Maintain records and documentation of studies, providing updates to R&D leads and CPFT community.
