Job summary

Derbyshire County Council is seeking a public health epidemiologist to join the Knowledge and Intelligence Team. You will apply epidemiological and statistical methods to understand population health, trends and inequalities and inform decision-making across Derbyshire.

The post focuses on epidemiology, economic evaluation and research; you will lead workstreams, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with partners to improve health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience applying epidemiological and statistical methods.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate findings for policy makers.
• Experience in health needs assessments, equity audits or evaluations is a plus.
