Job summary

Trafford Council is seeking a Public Health Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning, transformation and performance management of substance misuse services. You will work with NHS and voluntary sector partners to shape strategy and reduce health inequalities, improving outcomes for Trafford residents.

You will manage complex projects, travel to sites within the borough, and operate within a flexible, SMART working framework to balance impact with life commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience of commissioning, service improvement or contract management within public health, health, social care or a related field.
• Strong partnership working, programme management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to use evidence and data to inform decisions and manage complex projects.
