Job summary

The Imperial Hotel in Bloomsbury, London is seeking a proactive Public Area Cleaner to keep our hotel’s public spaces spotless, welcoming and guest-ready. This role requires 40 hours across 5 out of 7 days in a vibrant hospitality environment.

You will maintain lobbies, corridors and shared spaces to the highest standards, follow COSHH and health & safety guidelines, and assist the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Public Area Cleaner in hospitality or similar.
• Strong time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
• Physically able to lift, bend and stand for long periods.
• Positive, flexible and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean public areas including lobbies, lifts, corridors, offices, meeting rooms and staircases.
• Maintain high cleaning standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow Health & Safety and COSHH procedures at all times.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards or accidents promptly.
• Maintain cleaning equipment safely and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Support team members and contribute to a positive working atmosphere.
• Provide great customer service by ensuring public spaces are always presentable.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑focused Public Area Cleaner to keep our hotel’s public spaces spotless, welcoming and guest‑ready at all times. You’ll play a key part in ensuring every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable and impressive environment.

WhatYou’llBe Doing:

• Clean public areas including lobbies, lifts, corridors, offices, meeting rooms and staircases.
