What you will be doing as a Public Area Cleaner

We are looking for an evening public area attendant to oversee the general upkeep of the property, including public and back-of-house areas. The shift starts from 18:00 until 23:00.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that our public spaces look their best at all times
• Hoovering guest areas
• Maintaining back-of-house offices to be presentable and ready for the next day
• Helping to sort linen and restock for the incoming shift
• Supporting the Lobby lounge with cleaning
• Completing turn-down service for some guests and residents
• Stock taking
• Supporting the front-of-house team with guest requests

As a Public Area Cleaner, you will interact with our guests, so conversational English is essential, as is the ability to work independently for periods of time. You will be a vital part of the hotel’s daily operations, ensuring all public areas are clean and tidy for our guests.

Cleaning is demanding and requires a certain level of fitness to perform effectively. Full training on the use of chemicals and equipment will be provided. Experience in a similar role isn't required, but a positive attitude and a desire to make a difference are essential.
