Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is seeking a dedicated Public Area Attendant to maintain cleanliness and presentation across all public spaces in a five-star hotel setting.

You will support meeting rooms, gym areas and back-of-house spaces, ensuring hygiene standards and guest satisfaction. The role requires hands-on work, reliability, and a proactive attitude in a bustling city hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all public areas, including lobbies, corridors and restrooms.
• Ensure meeting rooms, gym areas and back-of-house spaces meet hygiene standards.
• Support daily restaurant cleanliness and assist with linen duties when required.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and upkeep of upholstery, carpets and rugs.
• Monitor and report maintenance issues to keep the hotel safe and well-maintained.
• Care for cleaning equipment and store it properly.
• Complete guest requests promptly via HoTSoS system.
• Follow hotel policies on safety, security and lost property.
• Assist in training new colleagues to maintain high standards.
• Build positive relationships and deliver friendly, professional service.
