Job summary

AQA Education is seeking an External Affairs Coordinator to shape engagement with government, policymakers and the education sector. The role coordinates priorities across policy, public affairs and communications, ensuring projects and events are delivered on time and to a high standard.

You will support strategic planning, risk monitoring and reporting while collaborating with senior stakeholders on the influence agenda.

Qualifications

• Experience within public affairs, policy, membership organisations, charities, think tanks or education sector.
• Track record of developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication skills across diverse audiences.
• Experience coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate External Affairs priorities to align with strategic objectives.
• Support business planning, risk management and performance reporting.
• Assist Head of External Affairs with governance and cross-functional collaboration.
• Monitor policy developments and identify engagement opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Produce briefings, reports and insights for senior leaders.
• Coordinate stakeholder events and forums to strengthen external relationships.
