Job summary

The David Protheroe in Neath is seeking a Shift Manager to support the pub manager and take responsibility for the pub's operation during shifts. You will lead and develop the team, respond to customers, delegate tasks and manage cash.

This role covers front of house and kitchen work, with a 40-hour week, 28 days of paid holiday, a bonus scheme (up to 25% of salary) and a range of benefits including a complimentary meal and drink at work, 20% off, pension, loyalty rewards and future management

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• when running a shift, taking responsibility for the pub's operation, including compliance with company operating standards and legislation, dealing with customers, administration and cash management
• leading, supporting and motivating the team
• prioritising tasks, delegating and problem-solving
• working a variety of shifts across the week (including front of house and in the kitchen)
• delivering high standards in all areas: cleanliness, product quality, customer service, maintenance and atmosphere
