Job summary

Sitting in a commanding position overlooking the expansive Longsands Beach, this art deco-style building has been completely renovated. Located in Tynemouth, it offers a pub restaurant with 250 internal and 300 external covers, a fish and chip takeaway, and an ice cream and coffee parlour, adding to the vibrant coastal experience.

As an Assistant Manager you will be key to supporting the General Manager in ensuring that our Inn feels like a home away from home for our guests.

Qualifications

• Strong background in food and hospitality.
• Passion for customer service.
• Ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily operations to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Liaise with Chefs, Management and Suppliers to maintain quality and service standards.
• Oversee stocktake and ordering to ensure availability and cost control.
• Manage accounts and administrative tasks as part of daily site operations.
• Lead by example during shifts, ensuring a warm, welcoming environment for staff and guests.
• Occasionally stay overnight or respond to guest needs as required.
