Rate of Pay / Hours: OTE Up to 40,500 per Annum (Including TRONC) plus Benefits / 45 Hours per Week

Type of Contract: Permanent

Location: Bristol

The White Lion is a fantastic pub attached to The Avon Gorge Hotel, offering an outdoor terrace with views of the Clifton Suspension Bridge and Avon Gorge, private gardens for exclusive BBQs and events, and a big screen TV showing sporting events with a fresh menu.

When sunny, the terrace significantly increases capacity, transforming the White Lion from a relaxing bar to a bustling Bristol hotspot. This presents unique opportunities and challenges for management, including guest expectation management, operating costs, and flexible rotas.

We seek a hands-on Pub Manager to oversee operations at the White Lion, bringing your experience to lead from the front. You must be organized, professional, and detail-oriented.

You will report to the General Manager of The Avon Gorge Hotel and work alongside the operations team daily. Responsibilities include achieving weekly sales targets, managing payroll, and controlling stock.

Ideal candidates will have proven experience as a Pub or Bar Manager in a high-quality food and service environment, with strong leadership skills to motivate and develop their team.
