Job summary

JD Wetherspoon Plc is hiring cleaners to thoroughly clean all pub areas, maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness to enhance the customer experience. The role offers flexible shifts across mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes to fit different schedules.

No experience is required – just a positive attitude and a calm head. Full training is provided as part of our award-winning programme, with progression opportunities and a welcoming team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Be able to converse in English and understand training and duties.
• Basic computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in all areas: customer areas, toilets, bar, kitchen, staff areas and outside spaces.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks following SOPs.
• Follow correct procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and notify the manager when more are needed.
• Interact politely with customers and staff.
• Complete required induction and ongoing refresher training.
