Job summary

JD Wetherspoon Plc is seeking a Pub Cleaner to keep all areas spotless and welcoming, with emphasis on high cleanliness standards across customer areas, toilets, bar and kitchens. Flexible shifts covering mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes.

No prior experience required; a positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team are enough. You’ll benefit from training, a competitive rate of pay, free meals and drinks when on duty, and staff discounts, with potential for progression.

Qualifications

• Have a proof of right to work.
• Have a bank account in your own name.
• Be able to converse in English and to understand the language to complete training and other duties associated with your job role.
• Have a fixed place of residence within reasonable travelling distance of your place of work.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness in all areas: customer areas, toilets, bar, kitchen, staff areas and outside spaces.
• Completing daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks, following standard operating procedures.
• Following correct procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and notifying the manager when more are needed.
• Reporting all maintenance and pest-management issues to the manager on duty.
