Job summary

JD Wetherspoon Plc is recruiting for a Pub Cleaner across our venues. You will maintain cleanliness in customer areas, toilets, bar, kitchen, staff areas and outside spaces to support an excellent customer experience.

We offer flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes, with full training provided and opportunities to progress within the team. No experience needed, just a positive attitude and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proof of right to work
• Bank account in your own name
• Ability to converse in English and understand training
• Fixed residence within reasonable travelling distance
• Basic computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness in all areas: customer areas, toilets, bar, kitchen, staff areas and outside spaces
• Completing daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks following standard operating procedures
• Handling cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and notifying the manager when more are needed
• Interacting politely with customers and completing onboarding training
• Contributing to continuous improvement through ongoing refresher training
