Job summary

Greene King is seeking an Assistant Manager for one of our busy Milton Keynes pubs. You’ll lead by example, support the General Manager, and ensure customers and teams have a great time from entry to exit.

You’ll bring energy to the team, deliver amazing guest experiences, train and develop colleagues, uphold brand standards, and champion safety on every shift. Strong communication in English and a calm, hands-on approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Passionate about delivering amazing experiences for customers.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Able to think on your feet during busy shifts.
• Attention to detail and high standards.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform role safely and understand allergen controls.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day running of the business and lead in their absence.
• Bring the brand to life by leading the team in delivering amazing experiences for customers.
• Act as a role model for the team and support with training and development.
• Be a champion of brand standards and ensure customer and team safety at all times.
