Job summary

The Chickpea Group is seeking a Pub Assistant in the Andover area to help running the front of house and assist in the kitchen. You will work as part of a friendly team to create a welcoming guest experience across our pubs with rooms and pizza spots in the Southwest.

You will develop skills in hospitality, service, and team collaboration, with structured training and opportunities to progress within the group.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a passionate, energetic team to deliver a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Assisting in the kitchen with food prep, and washing up (Kitchen porter duties).
• Supporting the front‑of‑house team by serving, clearing, and ensuring guests have a great hospitality experience.
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation.
• Helping keep the pub running smoothly, supporting both kitchen and front‑of‑house teams.
• Learning from experienced team members and developing your skills in all areas of pub operations.
