Job summary

Practice Plus Group in the Health in Justice team seeks a Psychosocial Team Lead at HMP Lancaster Farms to drive delivery of psychosocial services within the prison setting. You will lead and develop recovery workers, oversee a small caseload, and ensure multi-disciplinary collaboration to meet service user needs and contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 in a relevant subject (e.g. addiction, psychology, counselling, social work).
• Experience in the substance misuse field.
• Experience of management and leadership.
• Experience of partnership working and multi-agency liaison.
• Experience of developing service user involvement strategies.
• Knowledge of DANOS.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Integrated Substance Misuse Service Manager in delivering and developing substance misuse services.
• Lead and develop psychosocial services and interventions within the prison as a subject matter expert.
• Ensure treatment approaches are appropriate, innovative and meet needs of service users, organisation and commissioners.
• Lead by example, provide guidance and line management support to recovery workers.
• Manage a small caseload with care plans tailored to patient needs.
• Ensure appropriate allocation of patients and evidence of multi-disciplinary working.

Education
