Job summary

Study Group is recruiting an Academic Tutor in Psychology for the International College at The University of Sheffield, based in Sheffield on-site. The role focuses on delivering Psychological Research Methods and Cognitive Psychology to international Year 1 students, within a dynamic Science team.

The candidate will teach, assess, provide feedback, and coordinate modules while aligning with quality assurance and continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's degree in Psychology or related field.
• Experience teaching Research Methods for Psychology in UK higher education.
• Experience with assessment marking at RQF Level 3-4.
• Desirable: PGCE/HEA Fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality education to international students in Psychology.
• Teach Research Methods for Psychology and Cognitive Psychology modules.
• Conduct formative and summative assessment with feedback.
• Coordinate modules and lead teaching teams when required.
• Engage in quality assurance, moderation, and standardisation processes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in meetings.
