Psychology Teaching Assistant - Hounslow

Contract type: Permanent (contracted positions may also be available for the right candidate)

Start date: September 2025 (earlier starts may be available)

Hours: 8.30am - 4pm approximately

Salary: £19,500 - £26,000

Are you a Psychology graduate looking to enter the world of teaching or educational psychology?

Psychology Teaching Assistant - responsibilities:

• Working closely with primary and/or secondary pupils with learning difficulties including autism, dyslexia, and SEMH difficulties.
• Providing 1:1 and small group support, mainly in English and Maths.
• Assisting with the implementation of EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans).
• Supporting pupils with emotional difficulties.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborating with external practitioners for therapy sessions.
• Encouraging independence and confidence in students.
